The HODC Auction Was a HUGE Success!

Nearly 200 people were on hand at Donley's Steakhouse in Union, IL on Saturday, September 26th for the auction of the carousel horses! The evening raised in excess of $39,000! The highest price paid for a single horse that evening was $5000 for artist Nancy Reid's "Fleur".

Donley's staff was extraordinary and the food exquisite! Pictures of the entire HODC process were displayed throughout the evening in a photo show - from the arrival of the horses to their display on the Square to the night of the auction!

Souvenir items were sold during the event (including postcard books, mouse pads, and stick horses). These items can still be purchased by calling the farm (815-653-9374). These items will also be available soon at various locations around the square including the Woodstock Chamber office!
