Main Stay Holds Annual Holiday Party!

Several hundred students, volunteers and family members gathered in McHenry County College cafeteria for Main Stay's annual holiday party on Saturday, December 5th.

Riding Instructors (Lori Cohen, Jean Maraist, Roxie Elliott-Crandall, Marc Crandall, and Patti Lessard) called their students up to receive awards for the 2009 riding season. Musical entertainment was (again!) generously provided by Bart Alonzo and his father who played Christmas carols and other holiday songs throughout the afternoon.

Volunteers were also recognized for their never-ending dedication to the program. Without their help and devotion the program could not survive! Although there were a few less people this year - the holiday spirit was nevertheless overflowing! Everyone looks forward to the 2010 riding season!
