It is the mission of Main Stay Therapeutic Riding Program to provide
individualized equine related therapeutic activities to people with physical,
developmental,
social, and emotional
disabilities, in McHenry and surrounding counties.
Main Stay
Therapeutic Riding Program enriches the lives of our clients in a caring, safe,
and challenging environment that will enable them to reach their highest

many items that are needed to help Main Stay keep operating costs low and
enable us to allocate the majority of our funding to student
scholarships. If you can help please call (815) 653-9374 to arrange a
time for drop off or pick-up of items. Please do not drop items randomly. Even with the best of intentions, it will only cost us money if we need to dispose of items that we can not use…

Program Items
We
seek contributions or in-kind gifts to assist with:
| In kind donation or underwriting
the printing of the newsletter (3 times per year), brochures, event
invitations, and/or raffle tickets |
| Underwriting scholarship
contributions for riders |
| In kind donation or underwriting
the purchase and installation of insulation for the indoor arena or barn
area |
| Contributions or grants to
provide salaries to hire instructors or therapists |
| In kind donation or funding
for fencing so that we may add one or more pastures for grazing horses |
| In kind donation or funding
of the purchase of gravel and pavement work needed for the volunteer
parking lot |
